Biography

Daniel P. Fishbein, M.D., is a cardiologist, professor of medicine in the Division of Cardiology at the University of Washington in Seattle, medical director of Congestive Heart Failure/Cardiac Transplantation Services and attending physician at the UW Medical Center in Seattle. He has been in practice for over 20 years.

Dr. Fishbein received his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University in Bronx, New York. He completed his internship at Lankenau Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and his residency and cardiology and interventional cardiology fellowships at UW Medical Center. He is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology.

His research interests include investigational use of rabbit anti-human thymocyte serum, exercise to improve sleep in heart failure patients and randomized evaluation of mechanical assistance.
