Biography

Dr. Dvir has extensive experience in structural heart interventions. He is the president of the board of the Institute of Valvular Research. Dr. Dvir is internationally recognized as an expert in evaluating and treating prosthetic heart valuves, including valve-in-valve therapy. He was trained in internal medicine and cardiology in Israel. Subsequently, he had cardiac interventions fellowship training in Washington D.C. and later on, worked extensively and specialized in non-invasive strategies for the treatment of heart valves in the Center for Heart Valve Innovation in Vancouver, B.C..
