Teaching AssociateMedicine Faculty Information Biography Jennifer Beckman, MSN, ARNP is a nurse practitioner in the Division of Cardiology, specializing in heart failure, mechanical circulatory support and cardiac transplantation, and a UW teaching associate. Jennifer is also a clinical assistant professor at Marquette University in Milwaukee, precepting physician assistant students. Jennifer completed her master of science in nursing and family nurse practitioner training at Alverno College in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and is certified by the American Association of Heart Failure Nurses. She currently co-chairs the Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner Council at University of Washington, and serves on the UWMC Nurse Executive Council. Jennifer serves on the Board of Directors of the International Consortium of Circulatory Assistant Clinicians and also served a presidential term. She is an active member of the International Society of Heart and Lung Transplantation and currently serves as Nursing and Allied Health Council MCS Liaison.
