Biography

Dr. Branch, a UW associate professor of medicine in the Division of Cardiology, has particular expertise in advanced cardiac imaging, including cardiac computed tomography, and clinical trials. He is board certified in cardiovascular disease. He has been awarded the Cardiology Teaching Excellence Award and the School of Medicine Continuing Medical Education Teaching Award. He is currently the director of Cardiovascular Clinical Trials at the University of Washington and associate director of the Clinical Trials Service Unit (CTSU) that facilitates large international clinical trials.

Dr. Branch's personal interests include spending time with his wife and three children, playing tennis, skiing, and other outdoor activities such as sailing.
