Rosario V. Freeman, MD, MS, FACC

Dr. Freeman is a UW Professor of Medicine and serves as Program Director of the Cardiovascular Fellowship Training Program.  She has an interest in medical education and curricular development. In addition to general cardiology, she is an expert in echocardiography and management of valvular heart disease. 

Dr. Freeman earned her bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering and master of science in clinical research design and statistics from the University of Michigan.  She completed her medical degree from Loyola University Chicago School of Medicine.  She completed her residency in internal medicine and cardiology fellowship training at the University of Michigan.  She is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and is board certified in cardiovascular disease and echocardiography.  She has been selected as one of Seattle Magazine’s, Top Doctors, Cardiology.  Dr. Freeman's personal interests include spending time with her family, hiking, and travel.
