• Describe what we can learn from studies of the determinants of sudden cardiac arrest in the general population
• Identify what has been lost in the translation of the findings into clinical care and health policy
• Understand the limited utility of SCA risk assessment and the potential of the construct of cardiovascular health to impact the health of the public
