Upon completion of this program, attendees should be able to:
- Recognize that American Indian communities exhibit exaggerated cardiovascular morbidity with
premature cardiovascular mortality. - The Strong Heart Study is instrumental in shaping our understanding of cardiovascular disease in
American Indians. - As ongoing study, there are multiple opportunities for interested parties to work with the Strong Heart
Study to expand upon the baseline base of cardiovascular disease knowledge in American Indians.
