UW Cardiologist Jeanne E. Poole, MD, FHRS, will serve as the founding Editor-in-Chief of Heart Rhythm O2.

The new open-and-online, hence the O2, journal established by the Heart Rhythm Society (HRS) is a companion publication to the Heart Rhythm Journal.

Brand new platform

With a focus on cardiac arrhythmias and electrophysiology, the journal publishes original clinical and experimental research, review articles, points-of-view, reports focusing on new technologies, commentaries, and letters to the editor. It hopes to provide a widespread platform for sharing the latest news for electrophysiologists around the world.

Slotting in alongside the Heart Rhythm Journal and Heart Rhythm Case Reports, the Heart Rhythm O2 will be the third series of publications produced by the HRS. Their shared mission? Promote research to end death and suffering from heart rhythm disorders.

Join us in congratulating Dr. Poole on her new role, as we are excited to get our hands on the first release of Heart Rhythm O2.
