background

I grew up in rural Oregon and went to Oregon State for my undergraduate degree, Yale for my medical degree, and University of Washington for internal medicine residency. My research interests are focused on thrombosis and thromboembolic disease. At this time, I am undecided on subspecializing within cardiology, and I expect to narrow my research focus as my clinical interests narrow.
