Upon completion of this program, attendees should be able to:

• Recognize that American Indian communities exhibit exaggerated cardiovascular morbidity with
  premature cardiovascular mortality.
• The Strong Heart Study is instrumental in shaping our understanding of cardiovascular disease in
  American Indians.
• As ongoing study, there are multiple opportunities for interested parties to work with the Strong Heart
  Study to expand upon the baseline base of cardiovascular disease knowledge in American Indians.
