Overview

We seek to educate others to improve the delivery of specialty care in all settings, including rural hospitals and clinics.  UW Cardiology provides a curriculum across a range of clinical and nonclinical training activities and experiences, utilizing outstanding faculty, state-of-the-art facilities, and programs to facilitate robust clinical exposure.  We support trainee career development through individualized training, mentorship and differentiated opportunities for learning and scholarship.  UW cardiology faculty present continuing medical education lectures in all areas of clinical cardiology, speaking on topics ranging from preventive cardiology to heart failure, dysrhythmias and acute coronary syndromes.
