Pre liver transplant cardiac evaluation: Why are we doing this?

Upon completion of this program, attendees should be able to:
- Understand the rationale and known clinical impact of patent foramen ovale (PFO) closure prior to liver transplant
- Describe current evidence of practice for pre liver transplant ischemic evaluation
- Review a proposed shared algorithm for pre liver transplant ischemic evaluation at UW
