About

Dr. Daniel Seung Kim is a non-invasive cardiologist and Assistant Professor in the Division of Cardiology. Clinically, He sees patients with a focus on preventative cardiology and exercise physiology, and separately attends at the UW Montlake campus.

Dr. Kim's research focuses on integration of artificial intelligence and statistical methos to improve physical activity as an avenue to prevent cardiometabolic disease. His work has been funded by the NIH, American Heart Association, American Diabetes Association, the Sarnoff Cardiovascular Research Foundation, and the Robert Winn Excellence in Clinical Trials Foundation.

Dr. Kim received his medical degree from the University of Michigan, graduating with distinction, distinction in research, and a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honors Society. He also received a PhD in Genome Sciences and the MPH in Biostatistics from the University of Washington. He completed clinical training in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Medicine as a member of the Physician Scientist Training Pathway at Stanford University. He also served as Lead Fellow for the Translational Investigator Program at Standford University while in Training.
