About
Dr. Poole is a UW professor of medicine in the division of cardiology. Her clinical interests include patients with heart rhythm disorders such as rapid rhythms, slow rhythms, identification of episodes of passing out, evaluation for individuals at risk for cardiac arrest and evaluation for pacemaker or implantable defibrillators.
Dr. Poole believes that patient is equally important and deserves consideration of his/her concerns and symptoms. She believes each patient is a partner in his/her health care. Patients should be provided with adequate information and education regarding their concerns or illness in order to make the best decision for evaluation and treatment options. Dr. Poole's interests include family, skiing, walking, hiking, and reading books.
