About
Dr. Prutkin is a cardiac electrophysiologist who sees patients at the University of Washington Medical Center and Northwest Hospital. He treats patients with heart rhythm disorders with a focus on the ablation of arrhythmias such as atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, supraventricular tachycardia, Wolff-Parkinson-White, premature ventricular contractions, and ventricular tachycardia. He is active in implanting and managing patients with biventricular devices, implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICD) and pacemakers, and is one of the most experienced operators in the Northwest with leadless pacemakers and subcutaneous ICDs. He is also a sports cardiologist, with a large practice of competitive and recreational athletes and exercises of all ages.
He is the Medical Director of the Cardiology Clinic at UWMC and Associate Director of the UW Center for Sports Cardiology.
His personal interests include reading, music, spending time with his family, and Premier League soccer.
