Clinical Cardioethical Conference: Tales from Two Cities

GRAND ROUND OBJECTIVES

Upon completion of this program, attendees should be able to:

• Recognize the importance of ethical reasoning in cardiovascular medicine

• Understand the complexity of end of life care involving cardiac interventions

• Explain important elements of the UW policy on withholding and withdrawing life sustaining interventions.
