GRAND ROUND OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this program, attendees should be able to:
- Listeners will understand the limitations of currently available cardiovascular risk assessment and precision medicine tools.
- Participants will understand the strengths and limitations of currently available biomarkers, including c-reactive protein, troponins and natriuretic peptides, for risk assessment and therapeutic guidance in cardiovascular prevention. Be familiar with current state of literature
- The listener will be able to use actuarial risk assessment for specific cardiovascular outcomes to help guide decisions for CVD prevention and treatment.
