GRAND ROUND OBJECTIVES
- Understand the classification of non-ischemic cardiomyopathy and its limitations
- Discuss how FDG-PET is non-specific to classical inflammatory cardiomyopathy and may indicate metabolic changes
- Highlight some ongoing research at UW we are doing to understand mechanism and prevalence of FDG-avidity in genetic cardiomyopathy
