GRAND ROUND OBJECTIVES
- Provide a basic framework for invasive hemodynamic assessment for the heart/kidney nephrologist
- Underline the basic principles of LVAD flow and its optimization in common clinical scenarios
- Discuss clinical and logistic challenges surrounding kidney injury and renal replacement therapy in patients requiring mechanical circulatory support
