Blazing New Trails for CKM Health: PREVENT-ing CVD
Grand Rounds objectives:
Upon completion of this program, attendees should be able to:
- Examine the complex interplay between cardiovascular, kidney, and metabolic health and population burden of cardiovascular-kidney-metabolic syndrome
- Evaluate the evolution of cardiovascular risk prediction models and compare older models with the novel PREVENT models
- Apply the CKM staging framework and PREVENT to guide risk-based decision-making in primary prevention strategies
