background
I am a proud Texan making my way to the Pacific Northwest. I was born and raised in Longview, Texas, and earned my degrees in Chemistry and Biology, with a minor in Photography, at Southern Methodist University in Dallas. I completed medical school and a Master of Public Health at the University of Texas at Houston, Internal Medicine residency at Louisiana State University in Shreveport, and returned to Dallas for Cardiology fellowship at Baylor University Medical Center. I am thrilled to join UW for Electrophysiology training, drawn by my passion for bioinnovation,
particularly advances in ablation technology, novel strategies for atrial fibrillation, and innovation in Sports Electrophysiology to help athletes safely return to competition. Outside the hospital, you can find my husband and me playing with dogs, traveling to haunted places, getting lost in a great book or film, crafting, or competing in speed puzzling competitions
