About
Dr. Cheng is a Professor in the Division of Cardiology. He serves as the Section Head of Heart Failure, Heart Transplant, MCS & Cardio-oncology and is the Program Director of the Advanced Heart Failure Fellowship. He is focused on education and advocacy, including serving as the Chair for the HFSA Program Director’s Committee and is the immediate past-ACC Governor for Washington state. His research focus includes risk stratification and optimizing outcomes in cardiomyopathies including sarcoidosis and amyloidosis, heart transplant, MCS and cancer survivorship, with over 200 publications in the field.
