Background
Kevin was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. After completing his undergraduate degree in biology at Washington University in St. Louis, he went to the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine for medical school and internal medicine residency. During fellowship, he is particularly interested in gaining experience in cardiac imaging and artificial intelligence and their applications in valvular heart disease, preventive cardiology, and sports cardiology. Kevin is thrilled to be joining the UW Cardiology family with his wife, Jing Gao, who is also starting as a cardiology fellow. Outside of the hospital, he likes to spend his time running, cooking, and reading.
